Cape Cod Wedding Venue: Holden Inn, Wellfleet

Nestled in the middle of heart of Wellfleet is the Holden Inn, which, like so many inns on the Cape, was originally a sea captain's house.  The original cottage was built in the 1840s, and it's operated as an inn since at least 1924.

The rooms are small and quaint, and, especially in the "Lodge," a bit rustic (twin beds & shared restrooms). Through the trees there's a peek-a-boo view of Wellfleet Harbor, and the marina is just a 100-yard dash up the road. The innkeeper has the full white beard and perma-tan of a salty olde Cape Codder.

It's a thoroughly charming place and has always reminded me of summer camp.

So I was thrilled to see this wedding, posted recently on Style Me Pretty. A perfectly executed brightly colored fun summer camp wedding at the Holden Inn!

Bunting, painted wooden signs, ribbon nametags, yard games, delightfully tabletops, vintage china and  handpicked wild flower centerpieces. Delightful. Pictures by Davina + Daniel.
